The ControlSpace EX-12AEC is a 1RU open-architecture conferencing signal processor purpose-built to act as an acoustic echo cancellation expansion unit. Rather than operating as a standalone main system controller with localized analog I/O, it is designed to provide cost-effective, scalable AEC processing density over network audio fabrics. It integrates into deployments alongside existing conferencing processors to manage extensive microphone counts in large, highly reflective meeting spaces.

  • 12-Channel AEC Expansion: Provides 12 independent channels of acoustic echo cancellation featuring a 480ms tail length and 32dB of noise reduction to significantly increase room microphone capacity. 
  • Adaptable Noise Cancellation: Implements advanced digital processing algorithms on each individual AEC path, using non-linear processing and comfort noise generation to mask abrupt ambient room shifts and optimize far-end voice clarity. 
  • 16 × 16 Dante Matrix: Leverages high-speed digital networking channels to effortlessly pool audio from native Dante-integrated microphones and route processed signals directly back to main conferencing processors.
  • Front-Panel OLED Workstation: Outfitted with a large front-panel display and a physical rotary encoder knob, giving network technicians instant visibility for setting IP addresses, monitoring signal clipping, or inspecting runtime channel status. 
  • Drag-and-Drop Software Setup: Fully programmed via specialized system workstation design files (version 5.5 or later), giving system engineers complete control over custom matrices, routing configurations, and logic links.
