Description
The Sonance Reference R1 (93344) is an in-wall LCR (left/center/right) cinema speaker engineered for dedicated media rooms and high-end home theater surrounds. Built around a ferrofluid-cooled 1″ ceramic dome tweeter and carbon-fiber/Rohacell laminated 5.25″ drivers, the R1 combines a 3-way driver layout and individual crossover networks for accurate imaging, intelligible dialog and a wide frequency extension (specified at 70 Hz–30 kHz ±3 dB). The speaker is designed to fit into a standard 2×4 wall cavity with a low profile paintable steel grille and integrates Sonance’s enclosure/installation optimizations for reduced disturbance into adjacent rooms. Typical specifications (power handling, impedance, sensitivity and dimensions) make it suitable for both left/right/center and surround channel roles in multi-channel systems.
