Description
The Sonance IS8T Invisible Series speaker combines Sonance’s Wave Flex and Air Flex diaphragm technologies to deliver full-range, high-fidelity sound while remaining visually invisible after installation. Designed for premium commercial spaces where aesthetics matter, the IS8T uses a bending-wave 1.75″ voice coil wave flex driver paired with an 8″ carbon-fiber Air Flex woofer to reproduce deep bass and extended highs (40 Hz–30 kHz ±3 dB). It supports both low-impedance (4 Ω) and distributed-audio (70V/100V) systems via an integrated 60 W laminated-core transformer with multiple tap settings, and includes two independent self-resetting poly switches for overload protection and safety-agency compliance. With shallow mounting depth and a slim profile, the speaker is engineered to be concealed in walls while providing wide dispersion (≈170° hemispherical to 10 kHz) and robust 160 W RMS handling for demanding commercial installations.
