Lyngdorf Audio MH-3 – 2-Way Satellite Speaker – Single Piece

Based on Lyngdorf’s compact speaker designs, the MH-3 raises the bar for what a very small speaker can achieve while maintaining strong dynamic performance. The MH-3 uses a specially designed 4″ midrange driver with a magnet 50% stronger than traditional 4″ drivers to increase sensitivity and deliver a linear response in the midrange — critical for natural, open-sounding vocals and clear transient detail.

Flexibility in installation

The MH-3’s compact cabinet and a special tweeter with wide vertical dispersion enable flexible placement: the speaker may be placed about 12″ (30 cm) above or below listening height without compromising the listening experience. The soft-dome tweeter is chosen for its lightweight structure, low noise and linear frequency response, emphasizing musicality rather than an over-analytical sound.

Discreet, room-friendly cabinet

The depth of the MH-3 cabinet is just over 3 inches to ensure discreet wall mounting and optimal coupling to the room for excellent timing response. The cabinet is full MDF construction with a solid structure that underlines Lyngdorf’s focus on dynamic music reproduction and build quality. Ideal for small stereo setups or as satellite channels in home theater systems used together with subwoofers.
