Pioneer Toraiz AS-1 Monophonic Analog Synthesizer
Designed in collaboration with Dave Smith Instruments, the Pioneer Toraiz AS-1 is a monophonic analog synthesizer bringing the powerful sound of the Prophet-6 to both the studio and the stage. With its intuitive controls, this synthesizer allows musicians to craft unique tones and perform in real-time with ease.
The AS-1 features two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO) allowing for a range of waveform options, including triangle, saw, and pulse. Additionally, its two voltage-controlled filters (VCF) include a 4-pole resonant low-pass that can self-oscillate, and a 2-pole resonant high-pass filter, thus enabling extensive sound shaping capabilities. It also includes sophisticated ADSR envelope generators, a versatile VCA, and a dynamic LFO.
Its dual FX engine inherited from the Prophet-6 offers an array of effects like bucket-brigade delay, ring modulation, chorus, phaser, and digital distortion to further expand the sonic possibilities. With 495 preset programs across 10 banks and a built-in 64-step sequencer for each program, the Pioneer Toraiz AS-1 is a powerful tool for music creation. The package includes an AC adapter and power cord for immediate use.
